THE FUNKY RESURRECTION

Lou Lou's monthly Funky Resurrection gathers a rotating roster of San Diego’s finest funk, soul, and jazz musicians for a super‑session that feels like a musical jam‑circuit. Expect contributions from the Sure Fire Soul Ensemble, The Greyboy Allstars, The Original Wailers, B‑Side Players, Jungle Fire, Tiny Universe, Mitchum Yacoub’s band, Spacehall Sound Machine, The Neighborhood Kids, and Gypsy Sally, among others. The free, 21+ event turns the club into a lively playground for improvisation and groove lovers.
